Wine Marketing Agency and Winery Marketing Agency for Meta Ads
We run Facebook and Instagram ads for direct to consumer wine brands and wineries that spend 20,000 USD a month or more on Meta. You get a senior media buyer, new ad creative every month, wine club and first case offers built around lifetime value, 21+ targeting that follows Meta's alcohol ad policy, and offers limited to the states you can legally ship to, all for one flat monthly fee.
Wine is a repeat purchase product sold under strict rules. Meta allows alcohol ads only with age restrictions, and a winery can only ship to states where it holds the right permits. Wineries that grow on Meta build the account around those two facts: a first purchase that leads into a wine club or repeat case, and ads shown only to adults in states you can actually deliver to.

01 · The problem
Why wine brands struggle with Facebook ads
Alcohol is a restricted category on Meta. Ads need age targeting and must follow local law, and a careless claim, a missing age gate or an ad that sends people to a store that cannot ship to them is an easy way to lose ads or put the account at risk. Many wine brands respond by boosting posts and hoping.
The economics are the second problem. A single bottle at 35 USD rarely pays back paid acquisition. A wine club member who stays for a year, or a customer who reorders a case every few months, usually does. Accounts judged on first order ROAS look like they lose money while the real return shows up in the following quarters.
- Ads shown to people in states where the winery cannot legally ship.
- Single bottle offers pushed to cold traffic with no path into a club or repeat case.
- Tasting room visits and online orders measured nowhere, so Meta gets no credit for them.
- Seasonal peaks around the holidays and release dates planned late, with untested creative.
02 · The work
What we run for wine brands and wineries
- Policy aware account setup
- Age restricted targeting, ad copy that avoids health claims and anything aimed at minors, and landing pages with an age gate. We read the current Meta alcohol policy before each launch and when your offers change.
- Wine club and first case funnels
- First case, discovery pack and club sign up offers for new buyers, then retargeting and email handoffs that move them into a membership or a reorder. Club joins are tracked as their own conversion.
- State level shipping control
- Campaigns and product sets limited to the states you ship to, with allocation releases and sold out vintages switched off quickly so you never advertise wine you cannot deliver.
- Story and vintage creative
- Vineyard and winemaker stories, tasting note breakdowns, food pairing videos and creator reactions, plus static ads for new releases. See our Facebook ad creative and UGC ads work.
- Measurement beyond the first order
- Pixel and Conversions API with correct order values, club members and one time buyers reported separately, and tasting room bookings tracked as conversions when your system allows it.

04 · Who it is for
Wine businesses we work with
| Business type | What usually moves results on Meta |
|---|---|
| Direct to consumer winery with a club | Club sign up offers, allocation releases, retargeting of tasting room visitors, club member referral ads |
| Online wine brand without a vineyard | Mixed case offers, brand story creative, subscription reorders, gift sets |
| Small production or boutique producer | Winemaker stories, limited release scarcity done honestly, email list growth into mailing list sales |
| Sparkling, rose and low alcohol brands | Occasion creative, summer and holiday peaks, variety packs, creator first impressions |
| Wine accessories and gift brands | Gift bundles, Father's Day and holiday peaks, catalog ads by gift type |
05 · The numbers
What a good result looks like for a winery
Start from lifetime value, not the first order. If a club member stays eight months on average and your contribution margin after wine cost, shipping, payment fees and club discounts is 45 percent, a 150 USD quarterly shipment is worth far more than the first box suggests. Your break-even ROAS on the first order can sit below 1 while the account is still profitable once you count the second and third shipment.
We set targets from your own club retention, reorder rate and margins, not from published benchmarks, which vary widely and are rarely audited. Where your data is thin, we report first order results and 90 day revenue per buyer side by side so you can judge the account on the right clock.

How we compare with a full service wine marketing agency
Wine marketing agencies often cover label design, branding, PR, trade and distributor sales, events and website builds. We do one thing, Facebook and Instagram ads, for brands with enough Meta spend to need a dedicated team. If you need a brand launch across PR, distributors and events under one roof, a full service wine agency may suit you better. If online sales and club growth through Meta are the goal, a specialist focus usually wins.
- Flat fee by spend band, so our fee does not rise with your holiday budget. The reasoning is on flat fee vs percent of spend.
- Creative volume is part of every plan, not billed per asset.
- Monthly billing cancels online, and you own every account and asset from day one.
- Not a fit if you spend under about 20,000 USD a month on Meta, if you sell mainly through distributors and have no online store, or if you cannot legally ship to consumers in the states you want to reach.
07 · Pricing
Plans for wine brands
A wine brand spending up to 50,000 USD a month on Meta usually sits on Growth at 3,000 USD a month. Brands between 50,000 and 150,000 USD at their holiday peak move to Scale at 6,000 USD, which adds more creative per month. Larger groups with several labels use Enterprise. Yearly billing saves 20 percent, and the full list is on the Facebook ad agency pricing page.
