Beauty and Skincare Facebook Ads Agency
Beauty is a visual purchase made on a small screen. A foundation that looks perfect on one skin tone and wrong on another, a serum whose texture is never shown, or a claim the product cannot support will each cost you more than any targeting choice. Most of our effort in this category goes into creative and claims.
A beauty and skincare Facebook ads agency runs Meta advertising for cosmetics, skincare, haircare and fragrance brands, where the buyer needs to see the product on skin like theirs before trusting it. We run creative, media buying and tracking for beauty brands on a flat fee by spend band.
01
Shade, tone and texture come first
For complexion products, the most common reason an ad underperforms is that viewers cannot tell whether the shade will suit them. We plan creative so each core shade group appears on a matching skin tone, and we label shades on screen. For skincare, texture shots matter as much as results; a slow pour of a cleanser or the absorption of a moisturiser tells the buyer more than a polished packshot.
- Swatch rows on several skin tones, filmed in daylight without filters.
- Morning and evening routine videos showing where the product sits among other steps.
- Texture macros with sound, which work well as the first second of Reels.
- Creator reviews from people with the specific concern the product addresses, such as dryness, sensitivity or breakouts.
- Gift sets and minis framed as a low risk first purchase.
02
Claims and Meta's policies for beauty
Meta reviews beauty ads more strictly than most retail categories. Ads may not imply that a viewer has a particular personal attribute, so a hook that asks someone about their wrinkles or acne directly will often be rejected or limited. Images that focus on body parts in a negative way, and before and after comparisons in some contexts, attract extra scrutiny too.
Separately, cosmetic claims must stay cosmetic. Saying a cream hydrates or visibly smooths is a cosmetic claim; saying it treats eczema or heals scarring is a medical one, and in most markets that crosses into regulated territory. We review every script and caption against your approved claims list before it reaches the ad account, and we keep a do-not-say list for each brand in the portal.
03
Campaign structure for beauty brands
Beauty brands usually have a few hero products that bring in new customers and a broad range that sells to them later. We point prospecting at hero products and starter kits, and use catalog retargeting and replenishment timing to sell the rest. A cleanser that lasts about eight weeks, for example, gives a natural window for a reminder sequence to past buyers. Our Facebook retargeting page explains how we keep that from turning into a frequency problem.
04
Tracking for cosmetics and skincare stores
Beauty catalogs have many variants, especially for colour cosmetics. We check that each shade has its own content ID and image in the feed and that the Pixel reports the same ID. We also make sure subscription or auto-replenish orders are tracked as their own events, so first purchases and recurring orders are not mixed into one number. The full checklist is part of our Conversions API setup.
05
Which plan suits a beauty brand
Beauty accounts consume creative quickly because each product, shade group and concern needs its own angle. Brands spending up to 50k USD a month usually start on Growth at 3,000 USD a month. Above that, Scale at 6,000 USD gives 30 creatives and 6 creator videos a month, which tends to match the pace a beauty account needs. Brands selling across several countries with different ingredient rules usually choose Enterprise. All bands are on our pricing page.
