Cookie Policy
This page lists every cookie metaadsagency.com places on your device and explains why there is no cookie banner. It is published by the administrator of the metaadsagency.com service. Questions go to [email protected].
1The short version
We use only cookies that the site cannot work without. There are no advertising pixels, no retargeting tags, no social media widgets and no third-party scripts on our own pages. Because strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under EU and UK rules, the site shows no consent banner.
2Cookies the site sets
- metaadsagency_session keeps your session: it connects your browser to the audit you started, your signup steps and, once you log in, your account. It is first-party, marked HttpOnly and expires after 120 minutes of inactivity.
- XSRF-TOKEN protects forms against cross-site request forgery by confirming that a request really comes from our pages. First-party, expires with the session.
- remember_web_… is set only if you tick "Remember me" when logging in, so you stay signed in on that device. It lasts until you log out.
Preferences such as the monthly or yearly price view are held in the page or in your session, not in separate tracking cookies.
3Measuring visits without cookies
To understand which pages are useful we rely on server-side information, such as aggregated request logs, that needs no cookie and does not follow you across other websites. For the free audit limit we store a salted hash of your IP address, never the address itself.
4Advertising on our own site
Although we run ads for our clients, our own website carries no Meta Pixel or any other advertising tag. Nothing on metaadsagency.com reports your visit to an advertising network.
5Controlling cookies in your browser
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session or security cookies, the audit, signup, login and client portal will not work, while public pages stay readable.
6If this changes
Should we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before setting it. More about how we handle personal data is in the Privacy Policy.
